Austin Medley, CEO & Head of Recruitment
Austin is a Husband, Father, Youth Pastor with an extensive background in identifying and recruiting top talent for Fortune 100 organizations to family owned businesses. Born and raised in New Jersey, Austin relocated to Dallas, Texas in 2018 to follow the Lord's call and has since returned back to the East Coast.
While at Villanova University, Austin played Running Back and studied Sociology. Following his time at Villanova, Austin began his career in Sales and Recruitment, and worked for multiple recruitment firms in Dallas.
Austin began his journey into full time ministry as a Youth Pastor at Concord Church located in South Dallas, TX early 2021 through December 2024. Austin is now currently the Family Pastor at Calvary Chapel Delaware County. Although he made a career shift from full time sales & recruitment to ministry, Austin continued using his skills to recruit young talent and creatives for ministry projects.
Austin is passionate about serving the community and has a unique talent for matching mission driven organizations with mission driven people.
Jemila Medley, Head of Client Services & Director of Marketing
Jemila is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist, with several post-graduate specialities and qualifications. Jemila is graduate of Stockton University and a New Jersey native.
Jemila began her career as a creative, specializing in the performing arts, singing, songwriting, professional dance, acting, and hosting. However, in 2020 Jemila began her endeavors as a solo entrepreneur with her first business, a private practice for Occupational Therapy & Physical Therapy services helping women and moms. This led Jemila to becoming an expert in rehabilitation, business development, strategy, social media management, marketing, content creation. and client relations/management.
Jemila is now one of two Founders of Medley Search Group, and manages the companies client network as well as marketing efforts. Behind MSG there is great passion, education, and collaboration. Jemila strives to cultivate genuine relationships, build trust, and create community between value-based organizations and candidates.
Ryan Derfler, Recruiter
Ryan's career has spanned roles in a Fortune 500, governmental agency, multiple non-profits, a franchise, and tech start-ups. An authentic, winsome leader, he has a gift for building coalitions, attracting top talent, and building high-performing teams.
He has conducted over 1,000 interviews and made over 50 placements as a recruiter. Having lived on both coasts he has a strong national network and is gifted at old-school relationship-based recruiting assisted with the latest tools leveraging big data and AI.
Ryan graduated from Lebanon Valley College majoring in business administration and philosophy, and later received certificates in implementing innovative ideas for traditional businesses from the University of Maryland, and gamification from the University of Pennsylvania. He manages a 12-acre garlic farm in his free time with his wife, Whitney, and their four children and ten pets.
Matt Dunphy, Senior Recruiter
Dynamic, passionate and persistent are words often used to describe Matt in all his professional endeavors. Matt has over fifteen years of experience in Allied Healthcare recruiting, completing over 150 placements ranging from C-level executives, to managers, and new graduates.
Matt is a longtime support of veterans issues especially in the area of mental health and addiction recovery. Under his leadership at The Veterans Group in Philadelphia, the organization’s operating budget quadrupled. His entrepreneurial background in health-care recruiting, life insurance, and the volatile securities and brokerage industry have prepared him well for creating new business, negotiation and building strong relationships for the sake of the mission.
